Die Binz - ein Industriequartier, das es in sich hat - von einer Lehmgrube zu politischer Besetzung zu einem Ort, der vor allem zur Mittagszeit vibriert, wenn unzählige FoodTrucks auftauchen und sich Schlangen vor den Bürogebäuden bilden.
Die Binz lässt sich definitiv nicht wie eine gute Serie an einem Abend durchschauen - wir wagen trotzdem einen Versuch. Über mehrere Wochen haben wir auf die Binz geschaut, sind flaniert und eingetaucht und an der einen oder anderen Stelle hängen geblieben: am Sound der Binz, an den Dingen, die uns bekannt vorkommen, an der Straße, die nach einer Sozialistin benannt ist, an den Dingen, die sich wiederholen. Wir laden euch ein, mit uns zusammen in unzähligen Episoden der Binz hängen zu bleiben, einzutauchen, zu ordnen, wiederzuerkennen. Am Ende fiebern wir dann gemeinsam der nächsten Staffel entgegen und fragen uns: Können wir die Binz irgendwann nur noch mit VR-Brille betreten?
Für Teile der Ausstellung wird ein Smartphone mit Internetverbindung und Kopfhörern benötigt. Es wird außerdem eine Bar sowie einen Grill geben - daher: bring your own sausage!

The Binz - an industrial quarter that has it all - from a clay pit to political occupation to a place that vibrates especially at lunchtime, when countless food trucks appear and queues form in front of the office buildings.
The Binz definitely can't be watched through like a good series in one evening - but we dare to try anyway. Over several weeks we have looked at the Binz, strolled and dived in and got stuck in one place or another: at the sound of the Binz, at the things that seem familiar, at the street named after a socialist, at the things that repeat themselves. We invite you to get caught up with us in countless episodes of the Binz, to dive in, to sort them out, to recognise them. At the end, we will look forward to the next season together and ask ourselves: Can we enter the Binz someday only with VR glasses?
For parts of the exhibition, a smartphone with an internet connection and headphones is required. There will also be a bar and a grill - so bring your own sausage!
